Fiverr's popularity is of course not without shortcomings. With its 20% commission rate per sale, its 20 gig per user limit, and its 5 dollar maximum gig price (not including extras), most people find themselves turning to additional, more versatile freelance platforms. Each of these site is somewhat like Fiverr, but most of these sites also have more compelling features like higher gig prices, lower commissions, and fewer rules. A popular alternative to Fiverr, most freelances can tell you that the two sites only have one major difference, the price point. Like Fiverr, theirs a 20% commission, but unlike Fiverr, gigs can be priced between the range of $5 to $50. This make GigBucks definitely worth giving a shot!

A relatively new freelance site, the GigHub boost many amazing features such as a large community consumer base, one of the lowest commission rates (10%), and no price limit for gigs! The GigHub, although new, is remarkably flexible and is definitely on our must watch list for 2014!

Seoclerks, like the name suggest, is great for SEO related services. The site, like GigHub and GigBucks, allows users to post services for much more than 5 dollars, but has a highly competitive market.
